This video is for the Parsons, WV to Thomas, WV section of Route 219.
Very fun, clean and it even has some passing lanes.

Took this route from Snowshoe, WV to the Maryland state line.
Altogether a nice road with very light traffic on a week day with the exception of around Elkins, WV.
The road has mostly sweeping turns with an occasional section of tight twisty.
There is a ridicules stretch of pork barrel 4 lane expressway with nobody on it for a few miles north of Elkins.
Road was in good shape with plenty of spots for gas and food.

This is a great alternative to the truck-infested riding hell known as I-81.
The stretch from Elkins to Peterstown goes through the Tygart and Greenbrier Valleys, giving you a mix of sweepers, twisties and (rare for WV) long flat straight stretches (OK, almost flat and straight - this IS West Virginia, after all).
Enough gas and food stops to take care of you, even on Sundays.
Not quite the 'oh, wow' factor of the Parkway, but beautiful in its own way, and better if you need to make some time.
Something for every rider, and highly recommended.
