This is a nice road to ride.
Follow it South to Praire du Chein.
Take a right on Blackhawks Avenue and a mat stop is Pete's Hamburger Stand.
Further down the road is Cassville where you can take the ferry across the Mississippi and start new adventures.

This is a great road, some nice curves, lots of trees and some great little towns along the way.
It has a great view of Lake Pepin and just heading south through the town of Pepin, we stopped at a fabulous little cafe right along the highway called HOMESTYLE COOKING.
The price was reasonable for a burger and fries and the pie was homemade.
We would highly recommend a stop here.
This road is worth the ride and you will enjoy it!!

I took State Route 35 south out of Superior, WI after traveling counter-clockwise around the top of Lake Superior from Sault Ste. Marie.
Very good quality road, but gets more scenic when it approaches the Mississippi River.
Pier 4 Restaurant in Alma, WI is a must stop for the blackberry pancake breakfast.

Following the Mississippi, Highway 35 is also the western edge of incredible twisties and they aren't too crowded.
The county roads ('The alphabets') are a popular destination for Twin Cities riders and visitors from all over the country.

Part of the Great River Road of the Mississippi River.
Follows the River closely through rocky bluff areas and quaint old river towns.
Watch your speed going through these small towns.
Sweeping views of the Mississippi River.
Good riding road, with easy curves and turns.
Pull outs all along the road for interesting views.
Good to excellent amenities all along this highway.
At Prairie du Chien, make a short side tour across the River and visit Marquette and MacGregor in Iowa.
Historical old river towns.
South of Prairie du Chien 35 is an easy riding road through flat and rolling farming country.
Some minor curves and sweeping turns.

Runs along the bluffs of the Mississippi, with great stops along the way.
Flood Run takes this route in early spring and early fall.
Boat Drinks in Prescott has the best shrimp, cold or hot.
Diamond Bluff has a bar along the river.
There is a stop every 20 minutes if you like.
- Rider from Burnsville, MN (7/25/08)
Great road that follows the river.
Beautiful country especially during the fall time when the leaves are turning.
Be careful from Lacross to Prairie du Chien, you will travel by cliffs that have been known to drop a few boulders once in awhile.
I would suggest visiting 'Pikes Peak' and 'Wyalusing State Park' while you are out there.
