I agree with John Wisse.
Iíve ridden Clear Creek Road for several years.
In Summer, 2010, the potholes had become so bad that I was wishing I was on a dual sport.
Iíve driven through since then, and the road is still no better.
It was never a fast road, or even a road that you would want to ride fast on, but now itís terrible.

As a point of information.........the condition of Clear Creek Road has significantly deteriorated over the past 6-9 months.....so much so that motorcyclists should be advised to use extreme caution and operate only at slow speeds.
Portions of this road through Clear Creek Metro Park contain significantly large potholes that are hazards to safe motorcycle riding.
As an experienced rider of 30 years and very familiar with this road on a continual basis, I recommend that motocyclists not ride on Clear Creek Road at night or other periods when reduced visibility diminishes the ability to adequately detect road hazards such as potholes and loose gravel.

This is a great road for a relaxed ride.
Very little traffic, beautiful rock outcroppings (one you can actually ride through!), scenic Clear Creek Metro Park meandering alongside the road, and plenty of places to stop.
Speed is about 35-50 mph, but the sights make the ride worth it.
Very close proximity to Columbus and easy to get to off US 33.
