This route is another Wayne's gem hidden away through hills and valleys that look like they belong in West Virginia.
The road surface is very good, the sight lines in spots are mesmerizing and I can't imagine anyone not having a good time on this road.
Videos: Part 1, Part 2.
- 'Akumu X' (5/10/14)
Ridden on 9/3/2011.
260 was a decent road.
Some debris in spots but nothing that would have turned me away.
Pavement was in nice shape.
- Mary (9/6/11)
Rode Northwest from SR 26 to SR 565 on Oct. 18.
Brand spanking new pavement.
No off camber but be careful not to outride your brakes.
This section reminded me of SR 28, the Hellbender, in NC.
No other traffic seen.
- Bob C. (10/25/10)
Rode it at a spirited pace on my '08 CBR1000RR on 9/18/2010.
Nice twisties but quite a bit of gravel.
Keep your line to the car tire tracks in the right handers & you'll be ok.
No cops & very little traffic.
