About 2 miles north of Cazenovia in the north bound lane there's a deep dip in the road.
I've seen it toss unwary motorcyclists into the oncoming lane.
It's noticeable, you need to square off before it, go across strait then continue your turn.
Seriously - someone's going to get hurt.
2 of our experienced motorcyclist hit it and ended up in the oncoming lane this past Saturday.
Other than that & the tar snakes, it's a great road.
Make sure you don't dive in early and look thru your turn.

Just drove this with a GoPro mounted to my car to give you all a first person view of what this ride is like.
I hope you enjoy, I certainly do!!! Video
Couple corrections to Bernard & Bill’s comments: Route 13 runs uphill from Chittenango to Cazenovia (north to south), and this is the 'Falls Road' – not to be confused with the 'Gorge Road', which is State Route 51 south out of Ilion to Route 20 (check the Catskill Mountain collection of routes for more info on the Gorge Road).
In addition – heading south on 13 starts off with some nice high speed sweepers as the road runs up to Chittenango Falls, after which the turns become tighter, and there are more houses.
A couple great chicanes to take advantage of, too.
Heading north out of Cazenovia is a more technical due to a couple decreasing radius turns which can surprise the more enthusiastic rider.
Tar snakes and some chunky pavement in the twisty part make picking lines crucial.
This is a fantastic road for motorcycles: scenic at a slow pace, challenging at a quick one, and the Falls are worth checking out on foot as well.

If you are traveling within an hour of Syracuse, this road is well worth the side trip.
There are tar snakes but they didn't cause an issue on a day under 70 degrees.
The curves are fun if you hit this in light traffic, and in addition to the falls, the town of Cazenovia was very scenic.
I will definately be back.

The road everyone is talking about by the Gorge Road has been tar snaked.
I was on it 2 weeks ago.

Sweet fast tight turns...BUT LOTS OF DRIVEWAYS AND HOUSES.
Beware, I live on this road and I love riding it but watch for oil and slow old people.

Awesome twisty road that is just plain fun!!

Route 13 from Chittenango, NY South to Cazenovia, NY or visa versa is one of the best 10 miles of road for bikes anywhere.
It runs down hill from Chittenango to Cazenovia and has wonderful scenic twisties on a tight road with rock face and rock fence on the west side and cliff on the east.
There is no way to explain this road, it must be experienced!
Take the foot path at Chittenango Falls State Park for some very unique foliage found no where else and see the falls from its valley, it is well worth the walk, bring a camera.

I wanted to add what I think is the best 10 miles in NY State to the "twisties" (red) sections: State Route 13 from Chittenango to Cazenovia (also known as "Gorge Road").
It is absolutely fabulous, and is best run north to south (since it goes slightly uphill in that direction).
It's included as part of the Chittenango to Cortland run that you have posted for the "Sweeping curves" section, but this part is all first to third gear stuff.
Didn't want the guys on the Gixxers to overlook it!
