I ran this good road only from I-94 south to Bella Fourche, SD in August, 2009 on my VTX 1300R.
I found it very relaxing.
I saw very few vehicles, or people, or anything with blood in its body, not even cows.
See gas, buy gas.
I had good weather until Belle Fourche.
I just got my tent up and wolfed a can of Denny Moore beef stew when it cut loose a down poor.
I liked the wide openness of it.
There were some sweepers and a few 90’s, a few dips and a lot of straight & flat, the curves may sneak up on you.
If you are heading up to Roosevelt National Park, I’d highly recommend it along with Roosevelt NP.
I plan to return some day.
