Just rode the route today and I have to admit it's pretty good.
I live in Greensboro now and have been looking for a nice twisty road.
The route had plenty of turns and some small inclines.
There were a few places where you can really open it up if you want.
Unfortunately there was more traffic than I would have liked, but it wasn't bad.
There are a bunch of blinds turns which can be dangerous especially with cars traveling the road.
The very first curve I came to there was a car riding in the middle of the road.
Overall I thought it was a good ride and the road was in good shape.

Very fun road with Sanford being a great stopping point approximately midway between Fuquay-Varina and Siler City.
Sanford has several restaurants and gas stations for filling up all tanks.

This is part of a route I take just for kicks.
I hit NC 42 Highway in Fuquay and follow it down to Lillington Area then back around to Fuquay.
It has some good twists and turns but is mainly just a pleasant ride.

Not sure upon which road the previous comments were based, but they are not accurate.
SR 42 east of Sanford is mostly straight, slow, and riddled with traffic, even on a good day.
West of Sanford is a little better.

The road is smooth and peaceful with very light traffic.
Most of this route is curvy with only 2 miles of straight road.
