Welcome to MotorcycleRoads.US - Your one-stop resource for great motorcycle roads in the US™. It has been on-line since July, 2003. My goal is to provide a comprehensive listing of great motorcycle roads as a service for riders and other drivers. The roads are compiled from various Internet resources and input from riders like you.
I am a motorcycle touring enthusiast and currently ride a 2008 Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic® Electra Glide® with a MotorTrike conversion. The concept for MotorcycleRoads.US came as a result of hours 'surfing' the Internet to identify new roads to explore and help in route planning. I found many sites that listed a number of roads but none that had a broad coverage of all 50 states. My thoughts were "Why isn't there one web site that lists them all?". From this came the idea for MotorcycleRoads.US.
Since going on-line, MotorcycleRoads.US has been updated and revised on a regular basis. Countless number of riders have submitted a road and other features have been added.
MotorcycleRoads.US has been featured in both online and traditional motorcycle magazines.
In the July, 2006 online edition of Cycle Crossroads,
Tina Ashberry, a contributing writer, wrote "I’ve come across plenty of written “travel guide” books and maps along my many road trips over the years, with most of them being geared towards automobiles, bicycling or hiking; not many for the avid motorcyclist.
